1: Get your home qualified by sending your name, address and number to a local LGCY representative.
2: A LGCY representative will contact you for a brief discussion about usage and future plans. The purpose of this, is to see if solar will be beneficial for your home, and to make a preliminary estimate on savings.
3: If the program looks like a good match for your home, we will setup a site survey and make a final design with a fully accurate savings report.
4: Sign the PPA contract and schedule for installation. It will take about half a day to get the panels up, and a few weeks to get "permission to opperate" from the city. We will handle everything, every step of the way. All you need to do is sign the contract, everything else is taken care of by us and our partners.
How the PPA program works:
Solar companies are for-profit companies, just like most utility companies. The difference is, solar companies use a free energy source, the sun, instead of burning coal. This makes electricity production much cheaper, which makes it possible to sell electricity at a much cheaper rate.
The solar company installs a solar system on your roof, free of charge, same as when the utility company put up powerlines. All this means for you, is a cheaper electricity bill, as the power is being generated locally on your roof. No investments or cost for equipment/installation and no maintenance.
